[About the Chubu Regional Bureau of Shizuoka Prefecture]

The Chubu Regional Bureau of Shizuoka Prefecture covers five cities and two towns: Shizuoka City, Shimada City, Yaizu City, Fujieda City, Makinohara City, Yoshida Town, and Kawanehonmachi Town. It works with cities and towns, related organizations, and local residents to solve various regional issues such as regional development, promotion of migration, settlement, and tourism. This is a warm region surrounded by rich nature, including Suruga Bay to the south and the Southern Japanese Alps to the north, and it is easily accessible from the Tokyo metropolitan area.

This project will act as a test run for a workcation plan that maximizes the unique features of the region, and will help the improvement of such content and promotion in the future.
